Meet
The Artist
 Jean
Ann Edwards was formally educated in Fine Art at the Layton School
of Art in Milwaukee, WI and later at Edison Community College in
Ft. Myers, Florida.
She
worked in an ad agency in Colorado where she did a "little
bit of everything." However, Jean liked Fashion Illustration
and Photography best.
After
leaving ad agency work, she added water colors to her list of
media.
Jean works in oil, acrylic, pastel, wood, clay and fabric. She
is an award winning seamstress. About two years ago she discovered
"digital photography" and another asset was added to her list
of talents.
Jean
has displayed her work in various exhibitions around the country
receiving numerous awards. She has original pantings displayed
in corporate collections in the states of Colorado, Florida,
Georgia,
Illinois, California, North Carolina, South Carolina and Ohio.
She
and her husband, John, and their two dogs, Bear and Rocky, and cat,
Miss Kitty, live in the lovely, north Georgia mountains in a timber
frame home they designed and built themselves.
Jean
Ann displays at various shows during the summer and fall, including
the Georgia Mountain
Fair in Hiawassee in October.
